Opening Times

We will answer the telephone and respond to messages throughout the day and early evening, if we don't answer straight away then dont worry, we will call you back at the earliest opportunity as we are probably seeing to someone or busy with the cats.

Our general opening times for dropping off and collections are 9:30am to 11:30am and 4:30pm to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday, Sunday 10am to 11:30am and 4:30pm to 6:00pm. 

Note: We are closed to the human public on Christmas day, Boxing day & New year's day but cats are still welcome during these days while boarded. 

As Snuggles Cattery is sited on our residential grounds our insurer has placed restrictions on the number of visitors they will allow us to have at any one time and have made it a requirement that anyone visiting needs to make an appointment.

Prices & Rules

We don't charge extra for bank holidays, beds, air conditioning, heating and petting, the price you see is the price you pay and you won't find this quality accommodation and cat care cheaper anywhere else locally!

Prices as follows:

One cat per day - £10 

Two cats per day - £16 (sharing same pen)

Three cats per day - £20 (sharing same pen)

Four cats per day - £22 (sharing same pen)

Luxury Pens - £8 per day extra on the rates above 

Lux Pens are very large pens with bridges, platforms, ropes and more

Food can be provided at the rate of £1 per cat each day (Whiskers/Felix - Wet/Dry) although you can bring your own if you prefer.

Note:- The rates above also apply to the day you arrive and the day you leave irrespective of the time, this is to cover cleaning and disinfection of the pen and bedding.

If you or the cat/s require transport to and from the cattery then we would ask that you contact one of the many taxi or private hire firms in the area as they can provide a fast reliable cost effective service.

If your cat/s require a visit to the vets or any other requirement for us to travel this will be chargeable at up to £20 per trip within the Carlisle area.

50% deposits may be required if the boarding is more than 2 weeks away and full payment may be required if the boarding is within 2 weeks. In most cases if we are informed of any changes/cancellations in an acceptable time (reason pending) we may part refund any payment, this is more to protect the business from customers who just fail to turn up and refuse to answer calls/messages on or after the day they were due to arrive and prevents other customers we have had to turn away from being able to use our service.

Our general opening times should be adhered where possible, although we can accommodate out of these hours when required and if discussed in advance, this will be subject to a fee of up to £20.

At busy periods or if your cat/s are extremely stressed in the company of others we may be able to provide a basic cat sitting service subject to your location and our resources, please contact Loraine if you would like to discuss this further.

All cats visiting the cattery must have an up to date vaccination. Please ensure you bring your vaccination certificate with you when booking your cat in, note the course of vaccination must be completed four weeks prior to boarding or in accordance with manufactures/vet instruction. We cannot accept any cats without a valid vaccination card.

You are welcome to bring your own toys, beds, scratching posts bowls etc. but they must be clean and in good safe useable condition.

When you leave your cat(s) we may require you to fill out a booking in form if its your first visit, or due to changes to licence conditions, alternatively download here and fill in prior to arriving.

We cannot accept any debit/credit cards or cheques at this time, all remaining fees are to be paid in cash or bank transfer at time of picking up, bank transfers must be cleared prior to removal of cat/s, we will revise our payment methods in due course.

For long term boarding's we usually ask that payments are made at set intervals during the boarding.
